Guy EAKER Sr., Cherryville, NC
Guy is a professional fisherman & noted fishing instructor.
During his career, he has qualified for 10 BASSMASTER Classics and won over One Million Dollars. He won the 1994 Texas Invitational B.A.S.S. Tournament.
Guy's hobbies include: hunting and golfing.
Hobson Bryan, Jr. Tuscaloosa, AL
Hobson is a University of Alabama professor specializing in environmental policy. Much of his research and consulting is with the fishing industry. He served two terms as a member of the BASS Advisory Board, is an avid bass tournament angler and fly fishes for trout and bonefish all over the world.
Gene Ellison, Boston, MA
Gene is the owner of a prestigious investment practice and a professional fisherman. He is former Executive Director of the Professional Anglers Association (PAA). In this role Gene designed, implemented and supervised the PAA’s first ever professional tournament, the Historic Toyota Texas Bass Classic.
Gene is passionate in sharing his love for the outdoors with children.
Bill Fletcher, Treasurer Hot Springs, AR
Bill Fletcher is a cofounder of the Professional Bass Fishing Hall of Fame.
He is a Professional Engineer and co-founded B&F Engineering, Inc. in 1972.
Bill served as President of the firm from 1981 through 1997 and is currently Chairman of the Board.
B&F has a staff of over 40 full-time technical employees.
Bruce Holt, Woodland, WA
Bruce Holt is the Executive Director of the Woodland, Washington, based fishing rod company, G*Loomis, and has been an avid bass angler for over 40 years.
He's an avid archer, rifle hunter and all around outdoorsman and resides in Kalama, Washington.oyees.
Donald Howell, Birmingham, AL
Donald is a partner in Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, P.C. A native of Brewton, Alabama, he is a graduate of Auburn University. During his career, Donald has served organizations and companies with domestic and international operations.
He has been fishing and hunting since the age of three years old. He has taught fishing classes to youth groups and is a member of a number of outdoor organizations.
Sammy Lee, President Birmingham, AL
Sammy Lee is the host of the nationally syndicated radio/fishing program, "Tight Lines with Sammy Lee", that he has been producing since 1984.
"Tight Lines with Sammy Lee" airs fifty-two weeks a year and airs in more than 90 radio markets throughout twenty-six states. Lee's hobbies include: photography, fishing and playing golf.
Ray Murski, Meridian, TX
Ray is the owner of the prestigious Bliss-Murski Rep Group, of Dallas, TX. which currently has 100-sales representatives and support personnel representing major hunting and fishing tackle companies, in 30 states and territories. In 1995, he bought Strike King Lure Company and today Strike King is one of the leading lure companies in the world.
In 2005, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Jeff Pontius, Tulsa, OK
Dr. Gary Nesty graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in May of 1973.
He established The World in Focus Eyecare in September of 1973.
In May of 1994 he founded Solar Bat Enterprises, Inc. a company specializing in polarized sunglasses, and one of the leading manufacturer's of sunglasses for anglers.
Dave Precht, Vice President Lake Buena Vista, FL
Dave Precht, is a 30-year veteran in outdoor writing and a lifelong angler.
He is Senior Director, Publications, for B.A.S.S. in Orlando, Fla. He began his career as outdoor editor of the Houston Post in 1976 and joined B.A.S.S. in 1979 as staff writer and director of the B.A.S.S. News Service. He served as Editor of Bassmaster Magazine from 1984 until 2003, when he was named Editor-in-Chief.
Don Watts, Lexington, SC
Don, a try-out for a major league baseball team, went into the fishing business. Today he serves as the General Manager of the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Denver, CO. Having spent the better part of his life in the outdoors hunting and fishing, Don brings both a wealth of knowledge about fishing and the business of marketing bass fishing to the Hall of Fame.
